So I'm sitting here watching WKBW and they're being very responsible and running a constant list of closings...except during the commercial breaks.
I guess they don't want to distract from their clients' important messages...but they don't really care about their programming.
Doesn't this remind you of the days when you'd read a forecast that advised severe weather and the myopic merchants would call the station and demand that you not tell listeners that the weather was going to be bad and seven inches of snow was expected because it was bad for business?
So not much has changed, apparently.
I watched Channels 2 and 4 to see what they were doing and saw weather-related closings crawling even when the commercials were on.
