Wonder what is really wrong with Jay Severin?
He drops out of sight on radio for days at a time without an explanation from 96.9.

Does it take that long for the meds to take effect ? ;)
 
He used to take a lot of time off in the summers--and other times of year--on WTKK. Maybe has a lot of
vacation time built into his contract.
 
Yeah, I would imagine he has a lot of vacation time built into his contract. With the spring book starting soon I am thinking he is taking a bunch of time off since he most likely won't be able to during the book.
 
Last Wednesday, Jay announced that he was taking two vacation days this week (Thursday and Friday) and that Michael Graham would be substituting for him on those days. Jay went on to say that he wanted to take more vacation time, but had been out sick for nine days recently, so he was limiting this vacation to two days. He's expected to be back on Monday.
 
Sorry, he needs to rebuild his ratings, and shouldn't take time off right now. I don't feel like he's putting too much energy into the show this time, do you?
 
It really does seem like he is resting up and planning on trying to get back on the national stage. Don't see it happening, but who knows...
 
michael graham is a ratings killer. Severin is up to something but he is no genius. even the best psychologists would have a hard time with Jay.
 
Or perhaps he's just taking some time off to ramp up for the "all important" Spring book, which gets under way in a couple of weeks. I'm sure that after, say April 4th or so, he'll be around daily through June.
Just my take.
 
Don't be surprised if Jay shows up as Willard Romney's hairdresser in his campaign... Someone has to make sure each hair is in place. ;)
 
Severin's crazy to have so much Graham filling his slot. He'll be sorry come ratings time.
