Dudedo you have any idea who you are talking too...Wayne was a major part of New Orleans radio for around 20 years....He could fix it if it could be fixed. Right now there is no hope for The AM/FM dial in NO unless you listen to the Ms gulf coast!
I have a few suggestions.
1) First we we need a local ownership group to gobble up all of the stations for sale and in these so called trusts and make a new cluster.
2) Local GM
3) Hire all the locals currently not in radio-not just personalities-behind the scene people too.
4) Utilize stations AND personalities to cover the formats people would actually listen to.
5) Arbitron NEEDS to count in all area parishes- NOT just Orleans and Jefferson- and count equally- maybe#45 eventually gets us into PPM counts.
6) AND hit the corporate mega giants where it hurts!
