What's the best antenna for long-range FM reception??

OK, all... Any suggestions? Not looking for DX solutions, though long-range FM reception and DX can be intertwined. I have a directional Rat Shack FM-only antenna in my attic now and does well (I think). Just curious if I could do much better. Any ideas???

Some may question this, but I had pretty good success using a regular TV antenna. Just like TV, those with more elements receive better and having a rotor that you can aim at the particular area from which you are trying to get a specific station (or stations) is even better.

Be sure the antenna is tuned to include FM. You have to be more careful these days since many antennas have FM traps.

The Radio Shack is good. The dumbest thing Rat Shack ever did was discontinue their long range FM antenna. It was much like the APS-13 and very affordible.
