What's the deal with CITADEL in Baton Rouge?

I had noticed that 1300 WIBR was off the air since Gustav...then I saw this in the Daily Report yesterday.

"...two Citadel Broadcasting stations are still off the air more than three weeks after the storm...station executives are keeping mum about specifically what’s wrong and when they’ll be back on the air...we had damages due to the hurricane..."

Are any of these even on the same tower?

Your link got torn up there as it didn't come all the way thru or something

To answer your question.. WXOK recently received a license to broadcast from the WIBR site so it affected both.

And to break the secret, the building lost the roof during Gustav and soaked all the equipment in the building meaning new building and equipment in the transmitter shack

This is the funniest thing I've read this week!

Obviously Smashed, you're not a Richard Condon fan. Although why he's still on the air is beyond me.
