???Can anyone tell me where the Eagle studio is located or is it just a box in a basement? I know they have Moby in the Morning and not a bad format that needs a little tune-up. I have called the Rogersville and Church Hill phone numbers and in Church Hill, you only get an answering machine and when I called the Rogersville number, it was the WRGS (local AM station) and they told me that they can't get the phone company to take thier number off the Eagle's info line. I know they are licensed to Surgoinsville, about 15 miles from Kingsport. Just ANOTHER one of the darndest things I've seen in radio over the last 20 years. Who owns the Eagle? Their website is so lame and no info that doesn't have much other than a link to Moby's site. ???

We own the radio Building in Church Hill and share it with WMCH. We have a digital studio for WEYE, sadly no basement. We are currently constructing 100.5 WFYE in Glade Spring/Abingdon for a May 2008 Launch. Our New Studio for 100.5 is in Downtown Abingdon on the corner of Main St. & Center St.

Our phone number is 800-450-1043.

PS

I can't figure out the phone company thing either. They still have numbers listen for WEYE from 3 owners ago.

Thanks for the info TennStud. Hey Radio Rat (DD) are you the GM/PD? Are you guys going to be adding an on air staff in addition to Moby? Format and location are cause for my interest of working on the Eagle. Would like to know if there are going to be opportunities. You can email me if you want. [email protected] 8)

The Church Hill stations have changed owners several times in the last 10 years. Just can't seem to go against the big boys. It was said in the Tri-Cities that Eagle 104.3 was a competitor of the defunct classic country flamethrower 640 WGOC. We all know what happened to that. Welcome to radio in the 21st century.
