Why?THE Ranch in FTW is on 95.9.,106.9 .107.1 in FTW, Kehrens, and Campbell. You would think they would be independent of each other. 95.9 and 96.9 in Sulphur Springs and Mount Pleasant overlap one another and share the awful Waitt radio network country feed. Welcome to consolidation deregulation assimilation done cheaply cost and sound wise.

K LOVE is spreading the "word" and likes to do so on any freq it can :)
More stations mean more listeners and more money...eeeerrr donations!
Are two of them translators? I would hedge to say the 104.3 is?

88.9 is translator 89.3 just signed on within the last few weeks and 104.3 is a 6kw station same as 89.3 I would guess there gonna put something different on 104.3 but who knows

Welcome to the begining results of the "Great Translator Invasion." A couple of years ago, when the FCC opened up a one week filing window for translators, there were some 13,400 applications. Over half of those were filed by ten entities. K-Love's parent organization was one of those ten. I suspect that you will see a lot more K-Love type stations in the not too distant future.

The awarding of translator construction permits is temporarilly on hold, but quite a few CP's were granted before the freeze. I'm sure that eventually the freeze will be lifted.

Some translators do good things, some are not so good. YMMV

Not quite. The Morning shows are different BUT the same song rotation per hour as dictated by waitt is in place. The Production is done in mnt pleasant and Sulphur Springs is the displaced step child.

That doesn't really fly man... there's a big difference here. If we could actually hear The Ranch in downtown Dallas loud and clear on all 3 freq's, you'd have a point.

Point being..the program is shared on those frequencies. That is what the Kl;ove thing is all about. So it flies and it is hovering.

Basically a waste of good usable frequencies.....
