What's the deal with Texas Justice?

I was under the impression that Texas Justice had been cancelled. After just reading the market profile on Atlanta at mediaweek.com, I noticed that WUPA has evidently picked up the show for fall. Does anyone know what the deal is?

It's on 3 times a day in Houston (coincidentally, where the show originates from), so I doubt it's being cancelled.

Will WAGA-FOX5 drop Texas Justice since WUPA-UPN Atlanta is picking it up? If FOX5 does drop it, what will take it's spot?

According to the Futon Critic's website, its listed among the shows that are on hiatus or fate to be determined. In other words Fox has yet to make a descision on whether to continue with the show, who already have scheduled airings up to September 9th, according to the show's website.

Could it be a second-run syndication for WUPA? Start from the beginning of the series and replay it? Do syndicators offer anything like that?

I know that shows like Blind Date and repackaged and sold elsewhere (doesn't SpikeTV have the rights to it?)

Last I read (TelevisionWeek, I believe), Texas Justice has ceased production. The actual courtroom studio is being revamped for "Judge Alex", which will take over TJ slots on a number of stations.

That may explained why Fox decided to go forward with "Judge Alex" this fall instead of delaying it a year. BTW "Judge Alex" will premiere September 12th.
