I just checked DeKalb's OJS (Online Judicial System) and saw that the case is still open. In fact there is a hearing scheduled for 2pm today, which will probably be canceled. The first notes on the case show the accusation was filed and the case assigned to a judge in late October, even though the arrest was in June. Cardwell's attorney is doing what he can to challenge the arrest. The case notes show several motions filed to contest the evidence.

I thought refusing to take the breath test was an automatic guilty. This case sounds like
special privileges for special people. Pay a lawyer $10,000 and he'll get some results for
you.
