What's the status of KCOH?

Did the sale not go through and, if not, is the station still up for sale?

The 8.75 million dollar sale price to Paraclete Ministries was ridiculously high, especially as the economy was tanking. If the current KCOH ownership is still asking that much, they are delusional, or are waiting for the greater fool.

You would think someone would take a stab at the station for a much lower price. Of course, it would probably wind up as yet another brokered religion/ethnic format, a business model that might be oversaturated in this market.

Another sign of how irrelevant AM radio has become.

I wonder why management didn't try to apply for an FM license in the '60s or more likely in the '70s; when the FM band was less crowded?

Meanwhile, the entire veteran DJ team has stayed in place and KCOH is sounding good, as always.
