What's the story on Cumulus Tallahassee?

Is it just the cluster in Seminole town? I hear very odd things from their pods all over the South. What strangeness is goes on in party town? I'd guess the group (beginning in the ATL and radiating outward) is becoming worried to the point of paranoia) which is beginning to breed desperation. I'm hearing of extreme micromanagement, even worse than usual, but their management efforts are aimed at non-problem areas while the things that need attention are ignored.

Since the announcement by the Mayes family it's like the light was turned on in the kitchen and the roaches can't find their way back to the dark. Is that kind of what's happening? Please share some details.

I'm in the market, and Cumulus really isn't doing so badly, at least ratings-wise. They have the
numbers 1,2,5 and 11th stations in the market. If they're panicking here, it is self-induced.

ESPN 1410 failed to rank, but is going to have a new problem to deal with. WCVC-AM 1330, which leases
tower space to 1410, has sold their property. WCVC is off the air and may not be back unless someone wants to shell out $350k for a license with no business, cash flow, equipment or assets.

None of the broadcasting companies are as easy to work with as they were in 1979 when I started!

I agree that this cluster should be pretty stable. Columbus has been there for some time as Market Manager as well as the DOS.
What will happen now that Columbus has been called up to Nashville will be interesting.
Has a new Market Manager been named yet for Tallahassee?
