What's up at 103-3 the app

I don't see how Bob would complain about losing SA listeners if the station they broadcast is in the Austin market and we have Jack FM. I don't think Bob and Jack are competing with each other.

I guess this is why KSAG is moving to 93-3. I don't know if The App will find its way to this new 103-3 allocation for Pearsall. Not a whole lot of people down there in Frio County, and that wouldn't benefit Alpha to cover that few additional ears with The App.

We need 1033 to expand its signal north into town. It doesn't make any sense to move signal further south unless I'm missing something here??

No K277CX 103.3 is not going away that I'm aware of. Alpha just got a second 103.3 signal, further south on a full power station.

I agree about the coverage though, 103.3 isn't too good over here by 281... Also 103.1 sounds totally overmodulated with their audio. I guess they won't ever get KHHL just right... :(

So since it will be full powered, do u think us north siders will be able to get a better signal then still vs the current 1033 signal??

Probably not, the new station is full power, but class A. Class A stations aren't meant to get out that far, they are a lot more than translators but usually not as powerful as stations like Jack FM or KTFM. This page has more info.

Pearsall is more than a little south of SA. We might get a better signal during tropo, but not that much.
