Whats up at BIG?

Is it just me or did I actuallly hear our "classic rock" station play CATS IN THE CRADLE by Harry Chapin this past weekend? Did they say CLASSIC ROCK anytime? I never heard it. And this new Paul & Ron extended to noon thing? Who are they kidding by replaying an earlier hour AGAIN from 11a-12n? Sounds like they wanna be talk radio and not rock radio...does this leave 93 as the only true rock station in town?

I was working as a jock in free-form progressive radio when "Cats In The Cradle" was released (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth) and we actually played it then...at least until the Top 40 stations picked it up. With that in mind, I guess there might be a case for calling it "classic rock", but personally, I'd stay away from it.

But at the same time, Big is really more of a Classic Hits station rather than a classic rocker, as they rarely play anything that didn't chart CHR when it was released.
