Dunno if the Hub WRHL 102.3 is having Satellite problems, but since this past weekend they have been tracking CD's and at one time sounded like they were broadcasting ABC starstation over the phone... The other day it sounded like the satellite reciever was not getting enough signal to put anything over the air... Just curious... CC

Hmm... I hadn't noticed but I'm also not a regular listener of them... The signal around here for them is not the best.

I noticed dead air when driving through the area between 11pm and 1am last Friday night. I'm guessing they lost a Starguide receiver or something along those lines.

Starguide is all digital so its also possible the receiver is not getting enough signal to provide audio, which could be a misalligned satellite dish or something as simple as wasps nest in the LNB enclosure.

Here's the scoop

My buddy down there told me their Starguide got toasted. Engineering problems never cease - no matter where you are!

Starguide has some real issues sometime. I had four power supplies go out in one of my units. We finnally got premiere to replace the darn thing, but now before we dumped $150 bucks a pop.
