WHAT'S UP AT THE MAXX?!?!?!

In one day The Maxx puts up an awful new website...never let it be said that rock 103's website is cluttered ever again. And never let it be said again that Leslie Wolf is radio's (BLEEP)..now that Meagan has got her butt hanging out for all to see.

Insitutes the Drake and Zeke, build up to nothing show and apparently loses/fires/kills the afternoon team.

My guess is the idiots who were in the afternoon were hired to get the station up and running and do all the behind the scenes grunt works and then when Drake and Zeke got in the building they pushed them aside so they could have the credit for a job they didn't do. If they were fired...shame on Citadel...they haven't even been here for a year...hell I'd be their stuff wasn't even outta boxes...and didn't I hear that one of them just had a kid...way to take care of young talent corporate radio. And wasn't Drum the PD of the Maxx??

Now I'm a Drake and Zeke fan, hell I worked with 'em for four years..but the magic is gone from that show and the sooner Citadel, Drake and Zeke, and the few remaining fans understand that Memphis radio can evolve to something different. I think Zeke and Markey B. were doing well by playing alot of music in the morning...that was different...music in the morning is very anti corporate. But with Drake and Zeke on in the morning now all i've got is just another place to hear fat, tired guys tell penis and fart jokes.

Maybe I'm just old, maybe I'm just jaded....but that's my opinion.

While I would have to agree with a lot of what you said, I don't think that D&Z would take credit for what someone else has done - they don't have to! It seems that a lot of people on this board wanted the afternoon team to go away. Just because it happened the same day, doesn't mean that they were responsible (of course it doesn't mean that they weren’t either). I feel bad for anyone that loses their job. But you are assuming they were fired, you don't know that! Let's wait until the dust has settled before we start pointing fingers at Drake and Zeke. As far as Leslie is concerned, I didn’t understand what you were saying but I hope it wasn’t negative. Leslie sounds great to me, she’s the best! The music sounds a lot better at Rock 103 now than it has in a long time. I think that the Maxx will do better than the Cat did as far as ratings, but I don’t believe that they will be a contender against Rock 103 unless D&Z or whoever the PD is this week make a lot of changes!

If I may throw my two cents in on this, I smell a stunt. Don't know though. I hope their departure is not the case, because I know Steve and Chris and they're good guys and they'll bust their arses to win.

We shall see though I'm sure.

Just a comment on the Megan deal. I think the photo you refer to is from her Maxim shoot that was done early LAST year. That's old hat. Further, it's not one she picked for the website and infact asked them to take down. They have done so at her request. I don't know anyone that calls Leslie "radio's (BLEEP)". Not in my presence anyway. I know them both and they are both great folks! <P ID="signature">______________

They are two midday radio dj's. If they are attractive good for them. If you are best buddies with them good for you (I assume your trying to say that your hooking up with them or at least trying)

If a goodlooking girl lets someone take her picture half dressed that is nothing new. Have you been to the new hooters? Now those girls are hot. Take your camera down and maybe you could send them to maxim. They probably have all been in maxim. It's not really hard to get in...Look Good, have a picture taken half dressed and send it to the magazine. Easy.

You should be hanging with D&Z they have the radio talent in the building. If thats what you really care about...

I wasn't implying anything with either of them. They are both friends of mine. That's not an implication, it's a fact. Your tangent makes no sense what so ever. Read the post again brainless wonder. Or put a tinted window in your stomach so you can see better.
