I heard that one of the afternoon guys is leaving. Are the rest staying on or are they soon to be out the door too?

KXTE X-107.5 XTREME RADIO HAS AN OPENING FOR FULL TIME ON AIR TALENT. CAN YOU MAKE AN INSURANCE SEMINAR SOUND FUN, CAN YOU INTERVIEW GUESTS INTELLIGENTLY AND WITHOUT FEAR, CAN YOU MAKE FUN OF YOURSELF AND SOUND LIKABLE DOING IT? DO YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ALTERNATIVE ROCK MUSIC, SPORTS, CURRENT EVENTS, POP CULTURE, INTERNET COMMUNICATION, AND POSSESS THE ABILITY TO WORK A CROWD? DO YOU LOVE RADIO AND THE PEOPLE THAT LISTEN? Your prediction came true. There is a new afternoon show at KXTE. It's Greg Rampage from KFMA/Tucson. He is leaving a Lotus station and will now compete against them. KOMP currently has a huge lead over EXTREME in PM drive, we'll see if Rampage can change that.

Doubt it. If Xtreme Disorder couldn't do it, its not a talent issue. Xtreme has an identity issue as well as financial. Musically they are off and much too young. Rampage may be a good jock, straight-ahead, liner and phoners are good, but he left stability (Lotus is crazy stability--you cant get fired), for a "god only knows whats gonna happen next" radio station...
I will miss Disorder personally....

VegasAngel was exactly right about this, but who would have thought so soon?
 
Makes no sense to me...they have to pay him out of his contract. Perhaps it was something more than financial... :-X
 
That would be great if there weren't a clause that says they can let him go for any reason. Poor guy got shafted by CBS while some suit smiled. Least they could have done was give him a few months worth of a contract. No class that I see with CBS/LV.
