...Rob's on something there.. You better do well and quick.. On why from #161 to top ten? Why not? 'STO has such a large footprint and coverage beyond the local metro and former second metro... When you have an 80 to 90 mile dominate signal in your format, a company that treats you as if you're in a top 50 to 75 market, and ratings and billings to go with it, major markets notice... I remember some of the rimshots that created major players.. E'ville did when it was in the top 120's...With only 3 % growth every ten years and the national growth average at 11 % every ten years, E'ville has lost ground.. Gibson County and Webster should be in the radio metro coverage survey, as the US Gov't. has officially put them into the MSA on their counter.... The 101 size of the TV market is more to the true reach of the powers on the radio side in this location (WSTO-WBKR-WKDQ with their 100kw at 300 meter plus and WIKY and WJLT with the 50kw sticks).... I think "Booker" will adjust well.. I hope "Sarah" is ready for culture change, as a much younger (in years on the air) talent, not used to heavy book looks by management (almost daily).... I think she's up to the challenge, with "Booker" and his family's encouragement... My advice is to stay off the Katy Expressway (I-10) just before or just after rush hour.. Get to the station 2 hours early (at least).....
