What's up with 94.9 The Surf?

An old time radio guy here who is into shag dancing, sos and beach music. Was in Myrtle Beach over the past weekend and went to a couple of the clubs in O.D. Talk was that the Surf Radio station was in trouble and it or its ownership had filed bankruptcy. Anybody know anything about this?
