i hed b96 playing more dance music than hiphop and rb is they pressure of love fm mixshow which had ex b96 dj in the mix
 
b96 added some of the dance music a little while back (maybe 3 months-ish). but i wouldn't think it would have to do with Love.... which isn't a direct competitor. b96 and kiss haven't grown (and their formats really can't grow) with their listeners.... they have to allow the 18-24's to move on to new stations... it was a great move for Love to hire Brian because A) he's a great talent and B) he's well branded with Love's demo, who have outgrown B96.

They have been leaning toward B96's original dance audience from the 90s for a while.....im sure Middleton will be MD after awhile.....
