What's up with Eagle?

This trend it was way down at the bottom in 12+. Even under WGST. The only ones under it were weak signaled WVFJ and WLKQ. Eagle has what's probably the strongest signal in north Georgia. It's slowly becoming the new Jamz.

It must be part the intro of the Bull and of course adding Southside Shirley. Southside guys can never cut it on the northside.

Maybe it is because they seem to have lost their focus. I don't listen too much during the day but want Country at night I turn to Eagle and it is not the Classic Country they used to play that I wanted to hear.

With Johnny Stone handling morning duties on metro New York City's Star 99.1 I doubt he would have time to revive his Stonewall Jackson personality for an Atlanta station like Eagle.

The station has certainly declined through the years. Back in the mid to late 80s 106.7 was a very enjoyable station to listen to. The DJs were having fun and you could tell that when you listened.

Need to bring back Stonewall Jackson!

You should check out the Classic Country station up in Chattanooga...Classic Clountry The Legend. Not only do they play Stonewall Jackson, but they also play Hank Sr., Eddy Arnold, Tex Ritter, Gene Autry, Cowboy Copas, Faron Young, Roy Acuff, Hank Snow and more- the 40's through the 80's. They do Classic Country very well. They stream www.thelegendonline.com

You could always check out Country Gold on the weekends. They play all that old stuff. It's a pretty good show.

But that Country Gold show plays the same old 50 worn out songs week after week. You're right about the Legend, I listened to them while driving to Knoxville last week. I heard a lot of the old classics that I've never heard on any of the Atlanta country stations.
