What's up with "Giant" Brian Carothers?

Hi. I'm Rodney Ho. I cover radio for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. I hear "Giant" Brian Carothers, morning producer for John DeBella on your classic rock station, is leaving Philly for Atlanta's Project 9-6-1 active rock station to be the morning host starting August 6, 2007. What's he like? Does he have the skills to take over a morning show solo? I see he's a standup comic and a Pittsburgh native.

Funny guy that was the only entertaining aspect of Debella's morning show. Good for the Giant, bad for the Zoo keeper. Speaking of Debella, how many producers/sidekicks has he gone thru since launching that show? 3 or 4?

I think Brian will do well in Atlanta. From what I can tell he is a bit twisted!
