Whats up with Hot?

Hot 97.3 has been silent all day today. Yesterday I tuned in and it sounded like there was something wrong with their sound. Perhaps they are fixing it?

Also...I never got too many responses to my previous post so im going to post this once more. What is going to happen to Hot 103.9 (Tejano format) in Plainview? The signal isn't great in Lubbock but probably comes in alrihgt in the northern part of Lubbock county. We have two stations with the same name but different formats. Is anythign goign to happen? I have never been in a place where two stations had the same name.

Nothing.
It's a different City of License.
(Not rated in the Lubbock market).
Recall that 1420 and 1090 are both CBS, and both overlap.

They are back on the air, and now their RDS properly reads "Hot 97-3"
