Randy Hill is no longer at Jack. I thought they were doing well....Did he leave because of the ratings or what? Where does this leave Jack? Who locally would/could replace him.
 
He didn't leave on his own...Have you seen the ratings lately? How can anyone get fired for having the #1 station in town? It's too bad because I hear he's really good people too...I have several friends who were blown out in the oldies/JACK flip and they had nothing but good things to say about him. There is obviously some strange things happening in that building.


I've heard he's had several conversations with other companies in town. He was in my building the other day and the talk is he's got enough market knowledge and inside research information to blow a pretty big hole in both JACK and Mix...

Things could get interesting if someone wants to make a run at either of the South Central stations....stay tuned!
 
There has been weird stuff going on in that building for years. People are canned every so often seemingly because it's a tradition at that place. While I still have dear friends I worked with over there, I liked and was treated a LOT better at the supposedly evil Clear Channel than I ever was at SCC.
