What's up with KETK???

It seems to be one big revolving door...how many weekend sports anchors have they had now??? It looks like a couple of other anchor/reporters have left also . I understand why they would leave...I would be embarrassed to work there, too.

Does anyone have any other info?????

The company that owns them is in bankruptsy (sp?). They operate the NBC, FOX, MY TV NETWORK, and CW stations in that market, which is WAY TOO MUCH. I know some folks who work there. They pay very little. Most everyone hasn't had a raise in about three years. The ratings are terrible. They are operating the FOX and MY TV Network stations out of the Longview facility, and one of my friends works at that facility. He said the morale is so poor at the Tyler facility, that if they ever decide to merge all four stations into one building, He's gone. He said the benefits are getting worse and worse, too. What this company is doing, should be illegal or flagged by the FCC, but for some reason, they allow it to continue.

Between their situation and KYTX throwing their News Credibility out the window for some reality TV stunt, and KLTV's very low pay scale, there still is not a decent TV shop to work at in NE Texas. At least, at KLTV you can hold your head high about the product and the ratings they deliver.

I'm often wondering why Raycom and Max Media haven't banded together to try to put this "Television of East Texas" group out via the FCC...

I'd like to see ComCorp personally be forced to sell a couple of their stations in the Tyler/Longview Market....not because of the bankruptcy, but because they hold an abnormally large share of the stations in the market.
