What's Up with SW Florida radio?

Drove I75 through Collier and Lee Counties this morning 7am to 8:20am . Heard the following:

100.5 FM, I believe a translator with Spanish programing, flipping on and off air every ten seconds.

100.1 FM, Dropping audio every few minutes and sitting dead for 30 seconds or more. Thats CC isn't it?

106.7 FM Dropping old country music audio for 15 seconds at a time

1660 AM sitting with dead carrier

1480 AM sitting with dead carrier

1410 AM sitting with dead carrier

1350 AM so distorted couldn't make out what was being said some sort of talk program

So what's up? No qualified engineers or is ownership just lazy?

I vote for #2. Just Lazy. No one in radio management these days seems to understand that the only thing they have to sell is what comes out of the speakers.

106.7 FM (W294AN) is a repeater of 1410 AM (WMYR) which is branded as Twang 106.7. 1660 AM (WCNZ) and 1480 (WVOI) are simulcasters.

1350 AM (WCRM) broadcasts religious programming.

100.1 FM (WZJZ) is Cheap Channel. Need I say more?
