What's up with the A-Infos/Radio4All site?

Does anyone know what's happened to the A-Infos/Radio4All site? It seems to be down after becoming incredibly slow for the past week or so. I've been using them for my podcasts for a while now, but I think they've outgrown their server capacity. If I was in charge of it I would delete everything prior to 2004, but the logic of that solution seems to escape them.

Is there another site like that one, preferably free, that will host audio files that can be linked to via XML? Is there a way I could use my own computer as a server, or is that too risky, what with viruses and all?
