What's up with the sound quality on the Animal?

Anyone notice this over the weekend? It sounded like they were in a tunnel all weekend, and for the miniscule amt of time I listed to the Dan Sileo Morning Train Wreck today, it still sounded that way. I wonder what's going on over there--considering the sound quality of the other CC's are, well, normal.

Funny that you posted this... just this afternoon I took a rare scan up the FM dial (I usually listen to satellite) and was wondering myself why 100.7 was sounding like crap. I mean... the midrange was blowing away the highs and lows big time. I know all the compression and all that engineering crap makes some stations hard to listen to... but this was beyond even tolerable to me. 98 Rock didn't sound too great either.

I listened to the Storm game on Sunday and I thought they had a bad feed from the St.Pete Times Forum. At times you couldn't believe how bad it sounded. I thought Jack Harris, Jason Dixon were talking into a bad microphone or simply the crowd mike muffled anything else that you would hear over the air. Certainly, someone really hacked up the remote broadcast. And it sounds like no pun intended that it was just a bad weekend to listen 620 AM. The sound was on a par with 1470 AM and that saying something.

I thought something was going on too... I was listening to 100.7 this morning and the audio sounded really flat and forced. Then I realized it was just a typical Nancy and Jeff bit.
