WHAT'S UP WITH THIS BOARD?!?!?

My goodness, the last few threads and posts have been boooorrrriiing! Nobody has a rumor or a morsel of insight into this market? Any thoughts on anything? Local jocks, are any of you going to try to take advantage of possible job opportunities down in Philly where two stations are about to blow up? Do you even have any thoughts on what's going on down there? There's a job opening at WXTU. Their morning show producer just left and they are looking for his replacement. Do you think any of the fired Philly jocks will come looking for work in THIS market? How many stations had airstaff at Musikfest? Any jocks want to grumble about that? Baking in the heat is so much fun when you are NOT getting paid for it. Do you realise there are laws which prohibit employers from requiring employees to work OT without paying them for it? OK, that's it. Maybe someone will have a response to one of these topics. Or not.

OK---I'll repeat an old question. What is FRANK waiting for? where are the jocks????

Frank, shmank. Another classic hits station. <yawn> I'll throw one out there. How about someone putting together a station that actually STANDS OUT in this market? There's a novel idea for radio...how about something that doesn't play classic rock? And if anyone mentions WGPA, I think I'll throw up.

I think I've got an idea for a new sounding format that would produce good (but not #1 numbers) for the ever-changing climate, but I'll be damned if I'll bring it up on this board and let someone else be annoited the "genius" for it. Guess I'll just have to wait for the suits to figure it out for themselves and I'll smile & think to myself, yep, one of those suits should have been ME. Too bad I don't have the college degree or clout to get someone to listen or take a chance on me. The format would work in Philly or the Valley, but probably not W/B Scranton. It would probably work in Harrisburg but not York. Wish I could say more but I'll leave it at this, it would be fresh and the music itself could carry it. Well trained jocks would help, but it could be VT and still work. Heard the format about 6 years ago in Florida but I'm not sure how it's doing today.

Just thought of something today. Since Sunny in Philly went away does that mean Timmer loses all his free enigeneering services? If so how long do you think WGPA can survive?
