What's up with WDVD?

Lately, I've been noticing that WDVD is starting to put 80s gold back into their rotation, yet are still billing themselves as "Today's Best Hits Without the Rap". They're starting to sound like a modern version of WKQI (Q95-5) in the late 1990s prior to their switch to Channel 955. Any insight on this?
