What's up with wgny fm radio signal?

Every now and then the signal will just cut out, almost like somebody tripped over the cord and unplugged something. Then after a few seconds, or sometimes minutes, the signal comes back on. Not sure if it's the transmitter or something else. Just curious if anybody else has heard this. Seems to be an ongoing issue for 98.9 .
