What's Up With WMMO?

Several times this past weekend, I heard the songs being cut into by the announcer (voice track?) and then another song start right on top of the currently playing one. Did they get new automation and have yet to figure out the system? Or, are they getting sloppy with their programming? I like to listen to them because they normally do not talk over the songs. Did anyone else hear this or, am I going crazy?
 
I think they're getting sloppy. I listen online as I don't live in FL anymore.
The music still sounds great but the voice tracking is horrid and everyone
sound lifeless. Come on, do I really need to hear after every third song about
the "next downtown concert series...."?? For one week straight during Elise's
slot I'd hear a 5 second "that was Man on the Moon, I'm Warren Lee" same time
and after a totally different song. Go to Cary Pall's website and listen to the May '93
air check. That's the MMO I remember and love. It actually sounded alive back then.
