What's With KGME and MRN (NASCAR)?

Tuned in today online and they are streaming "Fox Sports" even though their web site says they should be carrying the NASCAR race from Watkins Glen.

The race is on their OTA broadcast.

License issues or sleepy board op?

My guess is license issues. In most cases, stations that run live sports aren't allowed to stream the games/races/etc. onlilne. The NHL is one notable exception. If the Coyotes were playing, XTRA 910 would be allowed to stream the games.

Definitely license issues. NASCAR sells streaming subscriptions for $64.95/year, so they don't want stations to stream the races for free.
