What's with the Freddie Coleman hate here?

Seems like every post I read about ESPN Radio's Freddie Coleman here is always negative. Of course, each one of us have a right to express that opinion and I respect. I'm not even being critical of those who don't like him. I just wonder what do many of you who don't like him have against him. Is it his voice, delivery style, sports knowledge (or lack of), etc.?

I think he has a good sound but seems to come across incoherent at times. I'm not sure how much television he does, if any at all, but I think he's much better suited to read a prompter then work without a net. He has a good personality and would do well on sportscenter.

I have nothing against Freddie, he can be a bit overdramatic and that "stick n stay" phrase doesn't help, but he's a solid broadcaster in my estimation.

In comparison to the dreck on SuperStation KLAC, Freddie's not half bad. Some of his shtick can get annoying, but he at least doesn't insult your intelligence on a regular basis.

I like him as well. For me, he sounds good.
What do you all think of Amy Lawrence? For me, she's excelent. I love her sound, accent, and she present herself very well on ESPN Radio
Anyways, back to Freddie Coleman, I enjoy listenning to him as well. he's great

Jesus Christ he is horrible...Fweddie Coemen is probably the worst host on ESPN in my opinion.
Everything is scripted... and bad at that. Truly listen. I just think he is a rough listen.

Even the way he says radio... it sounds like raid-yo. Overcoached.

Maybe I'm a hater. But I don't think he provides anything.

Freddie does some things well, but I don't like to listen to him for extended periods. The really good sports talk hosts know when to yell and when to speak normally. Freddie doesn't seem to have that.

I just don't like Amy Lawrence's voice. I suspect it is because of audio processing and not the way she normally speaks. Listening to her for a half hour is almost like listening to a 30 minute infomercial for Proactiv or some other cosmetic product. Over-sugared female voice. When Amy is on the air, her content is good. I think they had her doing pregame shows for the World Cup, and they were always well-done.

Certainly there's something to be said for bias away from female people in sports. I've heard a lot of people complain about Doris Burke in college basketball, for example.

Big fan of Freddie. Extremely entertaining and light-hearted. After years of being an Amy detractor, I'm warming up to her. She has improved greatly, IMO.
