Whats with the Rock?

Any one know what’s up at KISW. I was listening on Monday, Memorable Day between 3:30pm and 3:49pm. Some lady DJ was trying to interview some in studio guest. The only problem you could not hear who she was interviewing. This went on for several minutes with a one sided conversation, lots of dead air. They tried going in and out of delay once. And then around 3:49pm dead air again then normal music programming and no lady announcer. Was this a case of a really bad weekender? I can understand no one noticing for 5 or ten minutes but this went on for almost 20. Also I was up later Monday evening and thought I might catch a little Tom Leykis. His show was only playing in one channel and it sounded really thin. Maybe Marty and John should go over there and give it a kick. Would be nice to hear leykis in both channels. Like I said I don’t listen to KISW much if at all, maybe I caught them at several bad moments. But I will say all the commercials played in both channels and sounded great. Just wish the rest of what I was listening to sounded as good.

Leykis' show has sounded that way since it started on KISW. So what is that, 5 months now?The levels are WAAAY off..and mainly in the left channel. The levels are way off too, with the sat. feed about 5dB lower, on average than local program content. So, when the local liner guy comes on, he blasts you out of your chair. It's truly bad radio. I figured if nobody has complained by now, nobody must be listening.

Maybe Marty and John should go over there and give the engineers a little kick. Remember these are the same mental midgets who had one of the Wolf's CD players wired backwards on launch day, making every second song vocal-free on mono radios. And they didn't fix the probelm until four hours later.
