what's with WVNA tonight

I tune in to WVNA every night after the local 105.5 WYTM signs off and tonight I hear them playing staind, and I hate to say anything about this because I like the station, but the current song is un-edited, I very clearly heard the F-word, or is it not as big of a deal at 1am

Now they are playing green day, did they flip?

it kinda reminds me of 95.1 the fox in Montgomery, Mostly classic rock but there is new rock here and there. With the translators gone i guess they did need a new rock station over there, I'm glad that it didn't go 100% new rock though, I like how they go commercial free at night, unlike any of the other classic rock stations i can get that will talk your ears off even at 3am.

There are no forbidden words, only forbidden contexts. So, the F-word is not technically forbidden on the airwaves. However, I wouldn't advise anyone to say it given the current attitude of Congress and the FCC. Also, after 10 PM is "safe-harbor." Indecent material is permissable during "safe harbor." Obscene material is never permitted. Indecent and obscene are determined by content, not specific words.
