What's wrong with Neil Diamond?

He was honored at the Billboard Music Awards and performed two songs and people really seemed to like him. He's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

I didn't even bother to watch any performances by anyone else.

And if you say he's not doping anything new, my station has played his version of "Blackbird" by The Beatles. And he recently charted in England with "Midnight Train to Georgia".

He might be doping something new. Gotta find a new controlled substance to pass the time.

Ironically these days, Neil probably gets more A/C airplay from his Christmas music than anything else. Although I heard his version of "The Chaunkah Song" and it was pretty funny and catchy.

I was eating in a restaurant where I heard a DJ say "Sirius/XM' and he was on. The songs sounded like they were from the 60s.

I also heard him on Life 103.1 before "Lite" 102.9 drowned it out. "Life" is actually Lite, whereas "Lite" is not.

there's nothing wrong with Mr. Diamond----too many MD's/PD's are listening to their "consultants" instead of their listeners----typical.........

Same thing with the Carpenters, They go from no AC airplay to perhaps the core artist of December.
