There is something screwy with 990-AM's signal.
Several times over the past few weeks the signal will be crystal clear and all of a sudden it will turn very weak and staticy. This will last for several minutes. It's been at different times of the day. - I've noticed it only during daytime hours.
Now if it was just in my neighborhood I would think the interference was caused by something in the neighborhood or it was just a problem with my radio. But it's not. It's all over Southington and on several different radios.
It's on my Walkman. In my neighborhood off Queen Street. The clock radio in my office too. It's on my Walkman at the Southington Public Library, which isn't too far from 990's Antenna Site. It's on the stereo in my Honda Civic. It's on the stereo at my friend's house. He lives off Rejean Road in Plantsville, which is the road across the street from the Old Turnpike Road antenna site of 990-AM.
A girl I graduated high school with started working at Full Power Radio in Bloomfield back in November. I don't know if I should mention this problem to her, so she can pass it along to Full Power Radio's engineering department.
