What's wrong with WIVK's transmitter this morning (6/18) ?

I've heard them pop off the air twice in the past hour. The last time, they were off for a few minutes, then came back on. Now, the signal is weak and the audio is distorted. Sounds like the transmitter is starving for power (?)

Well, since something was mentioned that I actually know the answer to, I thought I would reply. WIVK-FM's main transmitter suffered a power failure early this morning, and subsequently the backup generator failed (don't know why, it was just serviced a couple of weeks ago). The auxiliary transmitter site located off of Middlebrook Pike at 44th Street was summoned into service until power at the main site was restored. The generator has been subsequently run under load for a couple of hours to insure it won't fail again.

What's odd is that about 8:30, 102.1 was also off the air for about 45 minutes (according to their Twitter) this morning. I wasn't listening, but they tweeted about it for awhile.

102.1's and 107.7's transmitters are on the same mountaintop.
