What's your favorite radio station?

Mine is KXTN. Especially between the hours of 4pm-9pm Monday Thru Friday & that Saturday Show from 7pm till Midnite is OFF The CHANCLA!!! ;D

KMFA. Their technical quality is the best I've ever heard... so good I will listen to some things I don't even care for, just because they sound so good.

Make that two for KMFA. In a world where stations change formats on an hourly (well, almost!) basis, those folks know who they are...and do a great job at it!

Second place....BBC Radio 2 for the same reason (but then, they're not exactly in this market ;D)

I go between 101X, Mega HD2, Party 97.7 (when I can get it in South Austin) and KMFA.

I have some strange musical tastes :p

Mega HD2 for me!!!! :D

I 2nd that! Why and how does Bastrop have that station simulcasting on K288FJ-FM 105.5?? Looks like more benefit would be for Austin or even San marcos.

I have no clue as to why Emmis has Mega on 105.5 in Bastrop. I am inclined to send an email or post something on their facebook about it.

Maybe it's because they have nothing to do with 105.5.

Um that does not make any sense how can they not have anything to do with 105.5 when their signal is broadcasted on that frequency??? Its not like they don't know about it....

Maybe they know they have the signal, but they don't know what format to put on it. That's what I meant.

The ownership of the 105.5 and 102.7 translators is being swapped, pending FCC approval. Will that have affect on what they'll be airing?

Correct it is on 102.7 I wasn't thinking when I posted ;)

105.5 could become a locally programmed station for Bastrop County if it were fed by one of the Hybrid Digital subchannels channels from Austin.

I use to enjoy listening to KVET in the mornings on the way to work, but now they just play that watered down play list and commercials.

I also like 102.3 The beat. and 96.7 usually listen to party 97.7 when they do mixshows.
