What's Your Favorite Urban Station?

For one thing you have to define, What Is Urban. Urban has taken on a different meaning from 30 years ago, just like the Adult Contemporary format today is not the same AC back in the 1970s and 80s.

WBLS, (98.7 Kiss-FM) WRKS, (Power 105.1) WWPR-FM and (Hot 97) WQHT which of the four are true urban stations? Kiss-FM and WBLS are very much adult leaning and Power 105.1 and Hot 97 both play a heavy rotation of Rap or Hip-Hop more than BLS and WRKS played 25 years ago.

I listen to Power 106 online last week. They sound like a CHR.
 
When I was in NYC last August I listened to 97.1, 98.7, 105.1 and 107.5. I liked WBLS's mixshow a lot. I heard Craig David's "Fill Me In Pt.2" as well as some older hip hop that I hadn't heard in a while. Hot 97 was alright too, they had some good mixes. They do sound much better than Power 106 in LA, which sounds like A top 40 station nowadays as noted before.

Oh please... Power 106 (and pretty much all of the west coast hip-hop stations) all sound like CHRs.
 
Does Power 105.1 count? I'm a rock person myself but I do like Power. Does anyone know do they still have Paternity test tuesdays? haha my friends would listen to it.
 
I would imagine Paternity Test Tuesdays got swept away with the demise of the Ed Lover Morning Show (last co-hosted with Malikha Mallette) in November 2010. Current morning show is hosted by DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God & Angela Yee.
