WHCY 106.3

Does anyone know why you can't get WHCY 106.3 clearly anymore in parts of Warren County and Sussex County? I live on the border of those counties. For several months I keep getting a Country Station Thunder 106.3 clearer than WHCY 106.3. I get the Country Station where I work in Rockaway NJ. too! The Thunder Station is apparently in Monmouth or Ocean County because all the commercials they play are all from those areas. Just wondering what happened to WHCY? Like I said it used to come in really clear. Just annoyed because I really enjoy that Station. I'm not a Country music Fan!

1) Thunder may be slightly overpowered, 2) Summertime means the atmospherics sometimes send FM signals where they usually can't be heard, and Thunder may be interfering.

I'm betting its #2 - see if your reception gets better with the cooler temps. If not, try and get ahold of Tony Dee - he's the engineer for WHCY and could give you some more info.

Heres WHCY's coverage area - http://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=WHCY&service=FM&status=L&hours=U...anything outside of the red circle is a crap shoot reception wise..

It's been before the Summer and the temperatures were cooler back then. I would say it's been since April when this issue began. How do you get in touch with Tony Dee?
