WHCY-FM carried Elvis Duran again

Max 106.3 FM WHCY-FM Sussex carries Elvis Duran after a 2 year hiatus. What format are they? All Access says they're Top 40. Why don't they become a full blown simulcast of Z100? They'd sure beat 92.3 out of the ratings in that area!

You again... ::)

I thought you liked 92.3 with Lisa Paige in it... :eek:

I only like Lisa Paige the rest of the station is crap. I can't stand Chunky. I don't get a chance to hear either Z or Now cuz I'm in school in PA and all I get is B104. :( which is a horrible CHR.

start a petition to get Z on there full time.....Z100 rules the universe!!!(even though they NEVER play The Supremes...lol.....but GaGa fills the void.0

They're using Clear Channel's Hot AC premium choice service. However since Clear Channel decided to remove it from the Aloha trust of station's to be sold they seem to be inserting more variations from the national feed.

I feel like they should never sell Max 106.3 or NNJ or SUS. they're pretty good stations. I do wish that Max was Top 40 like they were back in 02'-04'.

Like I said in my previous post, they no longer have plans to sell either station. WNNJ was never on the list of station's to be sold in the Aloha trust, Max 106.3 was until NJN debuted their new Sussex signal which put Clear Channel under the limit for the Sussex market. They do have plans to sell WTOC (the former WNNJ AM) though.

WHCY is once again streaming online. Hopefully they add some local personalities to the station soon.

I believe CC is unloading 1360 AM as part of that minority broadcasting initiative that was reported awhile back...
