WHEC meteorologists

Anyone notice that WHEC has the most stable weather people? I know from a newscast, the station has slipped over the past few years. But one thing is, their meteorologists has remained stable than any other local station. Channel 8, 9, and 13 have shuffled their weather people around lately and a lot over the years, but one thing 10 has over all of them is that Kevin Williams, Rich Caniglia, and Josh Nichols have remained a strong weather team for Rochester for at least 10 years. They need to get recognition for this.

I have know Kevin Williams since his beginning days at WOKR. I count him as a friend. I would imagine his pleasant personality makes working in the the weather lab at WHEC a good & stable place to work.

Yeah, nothing against Kevin Williams, I know he's a great and the most experience meterologist in Rochester, but I wish WHEC had have stuck with Richard McCullough when he was their senior weather person. I don't dwell on the past and It has worked out for Channel 10 because I stated their weather team has been the most stable.

I know Richard McCullough, and he could certainly have enjoyed a long run as a TV meteorologist in Rochester. But he had other goals--specifically to produce documentary films and programs. That's exactly what he's doing now, and he's finding both broadcast and cable outlets for his projects.
