Back in the 1980s I had the very good luck of interviewing a young lady who wanted a break in the Rochester market. So I hired Robin DeWind as a reporter at WNYR-WEZO. Years later it came as no surprise to me when Robin moved on to television news. She is a hard worker and had plenty of talent.

I wish Robin the best of luck in her future endeavors.

Channel 10 has been doing some major shake ups in the recent years, and this seems like another one. Did she leave on her own terms, or is this a WHEC shake up?

Interesting that you mention 'shake-up' because Don Hudson, who replaced Rich Funke who recently retired, is now being replaced by another anchor.

Someone that I know very well with connections in broadcasting emailed me that Channel 10 reminds him of Channel 8 a few years ago when there was a revolving door when it came to on-air personnel.

I don't watch CH. 10 that often but I thought Don Hudson did an excellent job.
