Wheel/Jeopardy to WATL

Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are moving away from WXIA to sister WATL this fall at 7 and 7:30 respectively.

I am wondering what will happen to the Simpsons. Is it going to WXIA at 7:30, or a new slot on WATL?

I think "The Simpsons" might be going over to WAGA (Which is owned by FOX, BTW). What show will WXIA will be replacing "Wheel" & "Jeopardy" with? I hope it's NOT Dr. Phil....

WATL is a dumping ground for Ch. 11. As for Dr. Phil I wish they would just drop him completly. Can't stand his show!

Are you serious? Wheel & Jeopardy are moving to WATL! That sucks! If CBS 46 wanted to get those ratings up they should be the ones to have Wheel & Jeopardy on at 7 & 7:30pm, and they would do good in the ratings too! What will 11Alive put in place of Wheel & Jeopardy?

11 Alive has local news at 7, so the question is:
what will they put at 4:30 and 7:30? I would
suppose that Merv's third show, Let's Do Crosswords,
will also be on 36.

At least one Gannett station is dropping Wheel and
Jeopardy! altogether: WTSP/10, the CBS affiliate in
Tampa/St. Petersburg. The two games will be moving
to Scripps-Howard's ABC affiliate, WFTS/28, in September;
AFAIK they will stay at 7 and 7:30, respectively.

FINALLY! Wheel and Jeopardy back at the time slots they belonged in! I can finally watch Jeopardy again.

THANK YOU!! :)
Me Too!! It's been four years since I've left Savannah and since then I'd wish
for these two shows be back to together again in this most aired local time slot (7-8 pm). Just goes to show you that wishes do come true!

I wonder how 11Alive going to feel when Wheel/Jeopardy on 36 beats the evening news on 11. Wheel will tie with World News at 7pm!!!! The Evening News will be in third place.

From what I understand, "Jeopardy!" has fared
very poorly at 4:30, running behind Oprah on
Channel 2 and "Divorce Court" on Channel 5.
"Jeopardy!" tends to attract an audience that's
not home at that time of day. Also, apparently
11 Alive has decided to attack "ET" head-on at
7:30.

So 11 is going to start running back-to-back
episodes of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"
from 4 to 5, and put "The Insider" at 7:30.
"Let's Do Crosswords" will air at 12:30.

All of you are correct about "Wheel" and "Jeopardy!"
being back at 7 and 7:30, respectively, now that
they're moving to 36; also, "The Simpsons" will
air at 11 PM on 36. But I have to wonder: isn't
36 the MyNet affiliate, a network with ratings so low USA
Today doesn't even show them on Wednesdays?
Will the two game-show stalwarts be enough to
get people to tune to 36, then stick around for
shows hardly anyone watches?

11alive is making a HUGE mistake by putting Wheel of Fortune against its own Evening News. They should have put Jeopardy on at 7 and kept Wheel of Fortune at 7:30. Were there not better options available. I am sure that the higher ups at Gannett made the decision, so we will see how it fares.
