Wheel of Fortune on WPRI

WPRI airs Wheel of Fortune at 7PM on Saturdays. Is this a live broadcast of it or are the Saturday broadcasts of WOF just reruns? I ask because WBZ usually airs infomercials at the time.

Thanks.

Both "Wheel" and "Jeopardy!" have weekend editions which are rebroadcasts of past episodes, available for those affiliates that decide to run them.

Infomercials at 7 PM on a Saturday on a major network affiliate. Wow. WCAU in Philadelphia has gone that route, too. I wonder if Lawrence Welk and "Hee Haw" were around, if they'd be pre-empted by infomercials during this hour...

You used to have "new" shows out on the west coast during ABC's Monday Night Football days - ABC stations air WoF and/or Jeopardy! would "shift" the pattern to Tuesday - Saturday for the week - if an episode was shown on Monday Nights after MNF, it would be a repeat...

If you read the fine print when they had a contest, it specifically mentioned the Tuesday-Saturday timing for "certain stations" - usually X hours after the program aired your local station.

Since MNF is on ESPN and NBC has "SNF" - no need to shift programming...
