I heard this one last week while on vacation in Helen, and I know it to be audible on a car radio all the way to Route 400 and the northern suburbs.Right now, they're running automated and commercial-free. You can log onto their website www.thenew1051.com and vote to change their format. It appears to work as I heard several announcements on the station like "You did it again. You voted to change our format to (classic rock/big band/'80s hits/etc.)" They also announced that they will be sticking with a new format at 1:05 PM on June 1, and while I seriously doubt that all the website voting in the world will have any effect on what format goes into play, I'm wondering if someone can aircheck the changeover.
