"Whelm": over/under

No slur intended. Were you referring to Kesling or to the TV guys?

When I had a few dollars in my pocket, it was Turkey. Now it's Jim.

Turkey and Jim are the same price. quote]

There are actually several versions of Wild Turkey, including proofs from 80 to 101, so it is probably inaccurate to say Turkey is the same price as Beam. They even bottle a pre-mixed "convenience" product, Turkey and Cola...probably for consumption by Southern women and Yankee "men". Which Turkey is the same price as Jim? Or, as they say over at Internet Headquarters, "All generalizations are false" (except this one).

He brought his accent with him. It'd be nice to hear him switch to the local pronunciation for Maryville. Permanently. Instant redneck points for that.

Turkey, either the 80, 101 or "wild honey" are the same bottle price as the "white label" Beam. Beam "7" is about a dollar more, but that's not enough to really talk about unless you're some down on your luck weekender for a daytime only AM in Meigs County.

If you're wanting to talk about expensive bourbons then look for some Rebel Yell or Kentucky Tavern.

Didn't John Ward do that? I thought the new guy was saying it like "Tenn-o-see" because Ward did.

Not so fast. A rich station like that would pay you with a tank full of trade gas at the Toot 'n Tote.

How about a prize to whoever gets one of the Citadel or WNOX apologists irritated enough to fire back at you. We can even weight it by level of difficulty. The Knoxville Citadel people seem to be laying low for whatever reason. WNOX is still full of urine and vinegar, which hopefully will find its way more on the air.

Cheaper than buying a ticket to wrasslin'.

We're talking radio here. Careful what you wish for! I'm making more at WalMart.

Twelve weeks of meh. Seems like all of the people with a dog in the fight one way or the other just don't care any more.

Cowboy, the posters are silent because it has been proven there is room for competition here in knoxville. However, I'm somewhat disappoint in 98.7's current promotion, especially when their sales reps say.."It's one of those insurance policy contests, similar to a hole in one contest".

Cheaper than a real payout. And probably cheaper in the long run than lying about your audience.

Meh, week thirteen.

A little less 'meh' this week. Did Ed and Bob talk about something besides their kids and animals one day this past week?
