When are Tigers & Braves contracts up?

It would be nice for 750 & 760 to be airing baseball again so I was curious when their contracts are up. A good number of other teams are still on clears (AL East minus the Rays, for example) so I was wondering how soon we might see the return of the Tigers & Braves to the clears.

Cox/WSB 750 declined to make a offer on the Braves when the contract was up for renewal before last season, so I doubt you'll see them back in the game anytime in the future.

Coming from a Cubs fan, I miss not hearing the Cardinals on KMOX. If I'm not mistaken, the Cards own a stake in a station in St. Louis, so it would make a lot of sense for them not being on KMOX.

Cards have been back on KMOX since around 2011.

Absolutely. Just seems right listening to them there.
I was flipping through baseball games the other day and saw during Yankees-Tigers that there's a fairly large WJR ad beyond right field at Comerica Park; large enough, at least, to be seen from the camera behind home plate (can't remember if it was TBS or YES that had the shot, but that's really not important). I'd love to hear the Tigers back on WJR, but I can't see it happening. That station has changed a lot in the past dozen or so years, and the Tigers anchor their station's lineup. Can't see The Ticket losing them without a big fight.

I can't speak for the Braves, but living in Detroit, I can add a little something to this discussion. With the Cardinals going back to KMOX in 2011 as a recent example, I'd never say never, but the odds that the Tigers go back to WJR aren't really that good, and it's not necessarily due to WJR'S Conservative talk format. One, WJR lost the Tigers and the Red Wings because Infinity(now CBS Radio) outbid them. Would Cumulus have the money to take down CBS Radio? Two, The Red Wings and Tigers rights seem to go hand in hand. Could Cumulus give WJR the cash to pull both teams in? Three, the Tigers do increase ratings during the spring, and summer for 97.1 and CBS may not want to give that up easily. Four, there's always a chance that a fledgling sports station or sports station looking to draw listeners in could get a few money bags to pull this off. Don't believe me? It's what Infinity did in 2000. WJR has an amazing signal, and could pull it off, but too many things would have to happen for the Tigers to end up on 760 again. I'd love to see it, but I'm not waiting on it.

It appears I kinda flew past the topic. The Tigers and Red Wings re-upped with CBS Radio and 97.1 The Ticket in 2011. It was announced as a multi-year deal, but I believe it was a five year deal, so 2016 would be my best guess.
