When Bad Things Happen To Good People

Let go:

20-year GSM for WNOK, Columbia...Kim Carson...gone (Clear Channel)

Longtime WVOC, Columbia jack-of-all-trades Dave Adair...gone (Clear Channel)

Clear Channel, Columbia Chief Engineer Gary Robinson...gone

Wave 96.1 Charleston PD/Middays Gary Robinson...gone (Apex)

Clear Channel continues to do this nationwide. Blew out twenty people in Cincinnati alone. Sad...especially here at Christmas.

They also recently let Greg McKinney, formerly the PD of 102.5 WMYI in Greenville. I think he was there for almost six years, and they just had the BEST book they've had in quite some time.

I heard that. That really is sad. But what's really got me scratchin' my head is this one.

Who fires engineers these days? What did he do kill someone?
